I’m engaged! …Now What?

Keep Your Head Together and Try NOT to Lose it!

WARNING: This is NOT a blog post about how to become ‘THE PERFECT BRIDE!’

If that’s what you are looking for — Feel free to roll your eyes and Google your way out of this post.

Reading several wedding blogs and seeing 10,300,000 search result for the phrase ‘BRIDE PANIC’ in Google makes me feel — NORMALΒ  πŸ™‚ Whew!

As far as my experience goes, ‘everyday’ is a struggle to keep my sanity in tact.

At this point, what I truly realize is that engagement process will EXTREMELY test and provide an unfiltered result on whether you made the right choice to say YES to the RIGHT guy or NOT!

If you think you know each other too well, wait until you have to make a final decision on every detail of your wedding. Oh, let’s not forget to highlight the MOST exciting part… ‘THE BUDGET’ πŸ˜€ — I’m telling you ladies, you need to have something up your sleeve to achieve victory. Thank goodness, I went through formal theater class to learn excellent drama techniques when I was in high school to win my way out πŸ˜€

But seriously, I am lucky to have a fiance who can pull me out of my LaLaLand πŸ˜€ The thing about Danny is that HE LISTENS and when I am NOT making sense anymore…he make sure that he does.

I now value even more, throughout our 7-year relationship, our best defense in any sort of crisis — WE COMMUNICATE! — We both learn to respect each others opinion and embrace our differences.

Wedding preparation is HEEEEELL!!!! …but I am learning to enjoy every moment of it.

I’m still SANE (I think!) — Thanks to Danny! πŸ˜€
